Galeria de Bacocho
At Bellacocho, we’re crafting more than just residences—we’re creating a layered experience of Puerto Escondido’s vibrant character through architecture, community, and art. Our upcoming Rancho Neptuno retreat center will infuse creativity into every guest experience, offering a space for reflection, artistic discovery, and the stories of those who come to live and connect here. As part of this vision, my street-side studio at Bellacocho will become a gallery showcasing the work of local photographers and other artists who capture the essence of Oaxaca and the people who embrace it.
Framing Puerto:
A Personal Journey into Oaxaca and its hidden Coast
This inaugural collection at the Bacocho Gallery traces a year of photography during my time in Mexico, leading up to the construction of Bellacocho. The work focuses on the rhythms of everyday life while moving between the density of Oaxaca’s city center and the coastal energy of Puerto Escondido. Blending 35mm film with digital photography, I offer a personal glimpse into the Landscape and culture—framed through a medium-wide lens to balance context, intimacy and atmosphere. Each photograph is a small, lived moment, shaped by attention and offered for your reflection. I hope to see you down in Puerto Escondido.
